How it Happened
One morning at Dafodill Valley Elementary, Alec was in his owners pocket,(note he is an eraser)and
boom! He fell out! He was at the playground, and was there for just about three days when...
"CHLOE I FOUND HIM!!" Local student Grace Brown yelled. Chloe(Alec's owner) was very excited. In the
process, Alec's head fell off. Thankfully, he is an eraser, so he didn't feel it. He had surgery, and is now
better.
About Alec
He is an eraser. His full name is Alec Shell Turtle. He is three years old. He was made in China, shipped
to Idaho, bought at a dollar store, and brought to Washington state. His current owner is Chloe Sophia
Latham. Mr. Turtles favorite food is Oranges. He loves to draw, and he was born on March 14th.

ALWAYS THERE TO ERASE IT! BUT AS YOU MAKE MY MISTAKES VANISH, YOU LOSE APART OF YOURSELF.
YOU GET SMALLER AND SMALLER EVERY TIME!"
ERASER: "THAT'S TRUE, BUT I DON'T REALLY MIND. YOU SEE, I WAS MADE TO DO THIS. I WAS MADE TO
HELP YOU WHENEVER YOU DO SOMETHING WRONG. EVEN THOUGH ONE OF THESE DAYS, I KNOW I'LL BE
GONE AND YOU HAVE TO REPLACE ME WITH A NEW ONE, I'M ACTUALLY HAPPY WITH MY JOB! SO PLEASE,
STOP WORRYING. I HATE SEEING YOU SAD."
So, pencils, no need to worry. It's our job.
